Apache Tears are a form of Obsidian, carrying strong healing properties around grief and loss. In Native American culture, legend has it that the men rather than being captured, would jump off cliffs to their death, the woman of the tribe would cry their tears of grief over the cliff, which then fell to earth and formed the Apache tear shape.
